Lambing Experience
During the months of March and April we offer a wide selection of lambing experiences from family group tours, pet lamb feeding sessions to Date Night in the lambing shed. These events are run every weekend during our lambing season and mid-week over the Easter school holidays, with something for everyone from toddlers to grandparents.

Meet farmer Michael in the lambing sheds where you will watch and learn about general sheep husbandry, discover the trials and tribulations encountered during lambing time,

Witness lambs taking their first steps and drinking from their mothers,

Lots of opportunities to ask the farmers questions,

Hopefully experience a live birth (but sadly we can’t always guarantee this),
- Plenty of photo opportunities with our very cute, friendly pet lambs,
- Take a well-earned rest in our barn with hot drinks and homemade cakes on the picnic tables undercover, enjoying the farming atmosphere while the children can enjoy running free in our play paddock where we have mud mountain, tractor tyre sand pit and a selection of ride on toys.
- And of course bottle feed our orphan pet lambs.
We also have free range hens and turkeys on the farm, next door to our miniature Shetland Pony, Pickles, that you will get to meet along the way.
If you are pregnant or trying to start a family this is not suitable and we look forward to welcoming you visit the farm when your new bundle is here.

Hand Reared Organic Turkeys
In the lead up to Christmas we sell hand reared organic turkeys, so be sure to pre-pre-order yours before they are all gobbled up!

Our Livery
Oakfield Livery Yard is a small BHS registered friendly, family run yard in Perthshire. We have space for 10 liveries on the yard, offering DIY stabled livery.
